Ammonium Persulphate Encapsulated Gel Breaker

Product Introduction
This additive is a micro-capsule formed by wrapping a conventional debonding agent, ammonium persulfate, with a layer of water-insoluble polymer chemical material. During fracturing construction, the ammonium persulfate in the micro-capsule does not contact the fracturing fluid, which can maintain a high viscosity and is conducive to crack formation and sand carrying; after construction, the cracks are closed, the capsules are destroyed, and a large amount of ammonium persulfate is released, which can completely debond the fracturing fluid and make it hydrated, which is conducive to flowback.

Instructions for use
During fracturing construction, it can be directly added to the sand mixing liquid on the sand mixing truck according to the designed concentration.

Product introduction

Gel Breaker SL-APS is an encapsulated oxidizing breaker used in hydraulic fracturing
applications. Gel Breaker SL-APS slowly releases ammonium persulfate into the fracturing fluid.
This allows the break of the fracturing fluid to be delayed. Higher breaker concentrations can
be added to the fracturing fluid without compromising fluid rheology.
Since Gel Breaker SL-APS is a solid, breaker will not be lost to the formation during fluid leak-off. Combining the higher breaker concentrations and not losing breaker to the formation, improved fracture
conductivity can be attained using Gel Breaker SL-APS.

Advantages

Increased break times can be obtained.
Higher concentrations can be used without compromising fluid viscosity
during proppant placement.
Solid breaker which will concentrate in the proppant pad during fluid leak-off.
Increased conductivity of the created fractured by:
Clean-up of proppant pack
Breaking of filter cakes from linear or borate crosslinked fluids.
Typical Physical Properties
Appearance White-Grey Granule
Density 56 to 64 lb/ft³
Solubility Partially in water
